At A Caring Touch Home Care, caring for our community extends far beyond the homes of the families we serve. We were honored to celebrate alongside fellow community leaders and supporters at the San Ysidro Health Legacy Ball 2026.

This year’s beautiful Tropical Soirée honored Kevin Mattson, President & CEO of San Ysidro Health, as he celebrates his retirement following 26 years of leadership and service to the San Diego community.

The evening was especially meaningful for our A Caring Touch Home Care family, as our founders, Javier and Nayeli Herrera, served as Co-Chairs of the Philanthropy Legacy Committee for this year’s Legacy Ball.

We were also incredibly proud to celebrate Jorge Herrera, who received a Certificate of Recognition from the State of California and Senator Alex Padilla in recognition of the hard work and dedication of the Young Philanthropy Council and its efforts to improve the health and well-being of our San Diego community.

Moments like these reflect what community is all about: people coming together, giving their time and talents, and working toward a healthier and stronger San Diego.

We are proud to support San Ysidro Health and its work to expand access to care for seniors, families, and communities throughout our region. It was a wonderful evening filled with celebration, gratitude, and a shared commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
